"911 - What's your emergency?"

The 911 operators lead Americans through some of their worst crises. It is imperative that they are trained to be effecient and knowledgeable; with the ability to handle the most stressful and challenging situations.

The Emergency Telecommunications Training Coalition was created to provide the training and education necessary for 911 operators to reach the highest levels of proficiency and professionalism. Whether the caller is faced with a violent intruder, health emergency, fire or any type of threat, our graduates are prepared to meet or exceed the challenge.

Our trainers strive to educate, coach and inspire the 911 call communication center employee............ more info needed

Our Mission

To proactively educate, coach and inspire the employees of 911 communication centers to a higher level of proficiency.

Our Motto:

To think, to teach, to act

The Emergency Telecommunications Training Coalition was created in 2006 by Columbia 911 supervisor and entrepreneur Kenneth Brown. After noticing a void in employee-centered 911 training for the Southeast, Brown rallied support at call centers throughout the state to compile the resources and training for 911 operators to improve their skills and advance their careers. The resulting association was ETTC 911, a non-profit, employee-driven entity dedicated to helping and inspiring 911 employees.
